The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing children, ensuring their safety, and assisting with daily routines such as meal preparation, transportation, and light housekeeping. This position emphasizes a proactive approach to caregiving, emphasizing safety, engagement, and personalized attention. Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from school, activities, appointments, and outings using private transportation assistance. Provide attentive childcare for multiple children across different age groups, including infants and toddlers. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote development, creativity, and social skills. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized environment through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and tidying up play areas and bedrooms. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the safety of all children at all times. Support children with preschool routines, including nap times, diapering or potty training, and educational activities. Assist with caregiving responsibilities for children with disabilities or special needs by implementing personalized care plans. Manage light household chores related to childcare, including laundry for children's clothing and caring for toys or educational materials. Foster positive relationships with children by providing nurturing support, supervision during babysitting sessions, and engaging in meaningful interaction. Skills Proven experience working with children across various age groups, especially infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Strong background in nannying or private home childcare with multiple children. Knowledge of childcare best practices including child development milestones and age-specific care techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR essential for ensuring children's safety during emergencies. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Ability to perform light cleaning tasks such as residential housekeeping to maintain a safe environment. Skilled in meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions or preferences of children. Personal transportation assistance skills for safe driving and reliable transportation of children. Demonstrated caregiving abilities combined with patience, flexibility, and positive communication skills. Familiarity with babysitting duties including supervising playtime and managing routines effectively.
