SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the pickup of feed and forage samples from designated drop boxes in the area and delivering to Dairyland Laboratories, Inc. in Warners, NY.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Pickup and delivery of feed and forage samples from designated drop boxes on a route schedule to be delivered to Dairyland Labs in Warners, NY, in a timely manner. Samples must be at the lab between 8:00-8:30, Tuesday through Friday. Does initial check of all samples making sure that account numbers and names are on boxes and information sheets are filled out and with sample Keep mailers and supplies stocked at all box locations Visually inspect drop boxes on a daily basis, ensure they are clean and well maintained Maintain records of samples picked up and delivered each day Maintain communications with all customers on the route schedule Communicate with supervisor on any issues or comments Be flexible to adjust route schedule to meet customer's needs Continue to look for other opportunities to gain new business Responsible for personal safety and safe driving practices Maintain a safe working environment Communicate effectively with customers Make additional route stops if needed Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED preferred
