Job Description

Transportation service needs a good person that would like to drive our vehicles. You must be able to work independently,have a friendly personality,be flexible and maintain a valid driver's license. Hiring for Part time Day shift position with paid training and a sign on bonus. A few requirements for this position are as follows: Must be able to pass a DOT physical. Must be at least 25 years of age (insurance requirement) .We travel throughout Ohio-most of our traveling is in Tuscarawas and Stark Counties but sometimes trips will need to be made to Columbus/ Cleveland,Ohio. Must be able to push/pull 200+ pounds in a wheelchair.

Assist passengers into and out of vehicles as needed. Must be able to drive the vans that are assigned daily. Will be transporting Dialysis Patients for treatment. Responsible for documenting/logging each passenger on a tablet with time, fare,odometer,etc. responsible for turning in fuel logs to the Transportation Office, doing daily vehicle maintenance checks on the assigned van for the day.

Turn in from the van locked money box daily,place on the drivers table for Vehicle Preventative Maintenance persons to reconcile . Maintain current required certifications and attend trainings. Follow all transportation policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation Coordinator or Executive Director.
