Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and departures from each stop Communicate clearly with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and provide exceptional service Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to prevent injury Utilize organizational skills to plan optimal routes, maximize efficiency, and reduce delivery times Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records for each trip Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly Experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred but not required Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and basic measurements Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Previous experience in sales or upselling is a plus for promoting additional products or services Familiarity with route driving, merchandising practices, and route planning techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Organizational skills for managing schedules, deliveries, and paperwork effectively Military background is advantageous for discipline, navigation skills, and safety awareness Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
