Job Description

INDEPENDENT PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVERS NEEDED
CINCINNATI AREA
We're looking for responsible owner-operators to deliver small OnTrac packages locally. Deliveries are available seven days a week using an SUV, minivan, or cargo van.
GENERAL INFORMATION 100-130
stops per day, depending on vehicle capacity and assigned route Standard rate: $1.75 per stop Oxford route: $1.85 per stop Stops are typically 1-5 minutes apart once you reach your assigned area Drivers usually complete 15-22 stops per hour All routes are local The warehouse opens at 9:00 AM Drivers must organize and load packages early and leave the warehouse no later than 9:45 AM A daily vehicle safety inspection is required before starting the route
VEHICLE CAPACITY
Cars:
approximately 60-85 packages
SUVs:
approximately 85-120 packages
Minivans:
approximately 120-150 packages Cargo vans: 150+ packages Accepted vehicles: SUV, minivan, or cargo van.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Drivers must carry commercial auto insurance with minimum coverage of: $100,000 bodily injury per person $300,000 bodily injury per accident $50,000 property damage Drivers will also receive cargo and occupational accident insurance through Zurich. The company will cover these policies, which cost $136.68 per month.
AVAILABLE CINCINNATI ROUTES
Territory 1 — $1.75 per stop: Route 1: Kenwood Route 2: Blue Ash and Indian Hill Route 3: Springdale Route 4: West Chester and Sharonville Route 5: Woodlawn and Wyoming Route 6: Reading Territory 3: Route 7: Hamilton — $1.75 per stop Route 8: Fairfield — $1.75 per stop Route 9: Oxford — $1.85 per stop Territory 4 — $1.75 per stop: Route 10: Forest Park Route 11: Mount Healthy and Greenhills Route 12: Lockland and Reading Route 13: Elmwood and Finneytown Route 14: North College Hill
ADDITIONAL PAY
Packages weighing 60 pounds or more: an additional $5 per package, plus the regular stop rate Stops with more than two packages: an additional $1 for each package after the first two
Example:
If one stop includes five packages, the driver will receive an additional $3 plus the regular stop payment.
Important:
To receive additional pay, you must notify Vanessa, the on-site manager, about any package weighing 60 pounds or more and any stop containing more than two packages.
