Duties Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver parts across designated routes. Load and unload parts using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders and obtaining necessary signatures or proof of delivery. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift. Communicate effectively using mobile devices to confirm deliveries, report issues, or update route information. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving material handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and use manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace. Familiarity with route driving, adherence to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience with warehouse operations or moving goods within a warehouse environment is advantageous.
