Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Non-CDL Delivery Driver with a valid DOT Medical Card (Med Card) in the Independence, OH area! The driver will be required to safely pick up, transport, and deliver products, supplies, equipment, and materials to customers, suppliers, and company locations. This position involves local delivery, non-CDL vehicle operation, loading and unloading, warehouse support, and customer service .
Key Responsibilities:
Operate non-CDL vehicles (such as cargo vans or box trucks under CDL requirements) to pick up and deliver products, supplies, equipment, and materials. Load and secure inventory on the vehicle and safely unload products at customer and delivery sites. Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries accurately, safely, and on time. Follow all company safety procedures, DOT medical requirements, and applicable transportation guidelines. Assist warehouse personnel with pulling, picking, packing, staging, and preparing orders for shipment . Assist with receiving, verifying, stocking, and staging incoming materials . Inspect products and materials for accuracy and condition before loading and upon delivery. Maintain delivery paperwork, shipping documents, and required records. Provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup locations. Safely operate material handling equipment and maneuver heavy or awkward items as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, climb, lift, carry, push, and pull . Must be able to safely lift and maneuver 50+ pounds and handle heavy or awkward materials. Ability to work in warehouse, vehicle, customer-site, and outdoor environments. Must be comfortable with extended periods of physical activity throughout the workday.
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver's license (Non-CDL). Current DOT Medical Card (Med Card) - REQUIRED. Safe driving history and ability to comply with company safety standards and DOT medical requirements. Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and perform loading/unloading duties. Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication with customers, suppliers, warehouse personnel, and dispatch.
