Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products promptly to retail stores, clients, or designated locations while maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions and building strong customer relationships. Plan efficient routes using organizational skills to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel consumption. Assist with merchandising and product placement at delivery sites to enhance client satisfaction. Handle heavy lifting and manual loading/unloading of goods while practicing safe lifting techniques. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to maximize revenue opportunities. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or retail store delivery roles. Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math for accurate transactions and measurements. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes. Familiarity with automobile transportation regulations, DOT compliance, and safety standards. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage schedules and route planning effectively. Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships through professional conduct. Experience in merchandising or retail environments is a plus, along with the ability to upsell products confidently.
