Job Description

A day in this seat You'll start with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your Class A commercial vehicle, verify your route and delivery documentation, and roll out on local and regional runs. Your trailer will typically carry steel, aluminum, and other metal products headed to multiple customers. At each stop, you'll review bills of lading and manifests for accuracy, maneuver confidently into tight loading and unloading areas, and assist with loading or unloading when needed.
Load securement is your craft:
you'll properly secure every shipment and tarp flatbed loads when weather conditions call for it. Throughout the day, you'll maintain accurate ELD logs and all required delivery documentation, obtain customer signatures and delivery receipts, and keep communication clear and professional. You'll close the day with a careful post-trip inspection and wrap up any remaining paperwork. What you'll handle Operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional delivery routes Complete multiple customer deliveries and pickups throughout the day Safely transport steel, aluminum, and other metal products Properly secure loads and tarp flatbed loads when weather conditions require it Maneuver trucks safely into customer loading and unloading areas Assist with loading and unloading when required Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate ELD logs and required delivery documentation Review bills of lading and manifests for accuracy Obtain customer signatures and delivery receipts Follow all DOT, FMCSA, company, and customer safety requirements What you bring Driver's License Truck operations and load securement skills Current CDL (Class A)
