James Supplies is seeking a full-time Counter Sales/Backup CDL Delivery Driver at our McAlester, OK location. James Supplies is an established and locally owned distributor of Industrial Gases and Welding Supplies. The successful applicant should expect to perform the following duties: Take, process, and manage orders for customers. Provide accurate pricing while maintaining proper inventory. Manage hard-good inventories. Build relationships with customers and provide knowledge of welding, tools, supplies, and gases. Provide timely communication to customers and other co-workers about any changes related to the customer. Be willing to listen and resolve service complaints. Provide feedback to supervisor about customer complaints and requirements. Move liquid and high-pressure gas cylinders and freight. Organize store and warehouse. Deliver gases and hard goods to customer's place of business safely. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures and DOT requirements Normal working hours are M-F, 7:30 AM -5:00 PM. Successful applicant should have basic computer and phone skills. A minimum of class B CDL w/Hazmat is prefered. Industry experience is helpful but not required. Applicant must be drug free. Compensation and benefits are discussed during interviews.
