This position will deliver and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership.
Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to take orders for pick-ups or deliveries without hesitation. Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Pull the correct parts and quantities for a delivery or a ship out. Unloads truck each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts. Responsible for returning cash or check, along with proper invoice, to the cashier office. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards. Requirements Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier Must be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner. Must be able to operate a vehicle in heavy traffic and drive up to 250 miles per day. Must be courtesy & professional while driving and must obey all traffic laws. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Must be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
