Job Description
NON-CDL Route Delivery Driver, Combination Store
63024 Sherman Rd, Bend, OR 97703 Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Combination Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver position. The Combination Non CDL Route Delivery Driver delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones and also delivers freight to customers on a weekly route stop. The Combination Non CDL Route Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery, set-up and pick up of DME equipment, supplemental oxygen products and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Efficiently organize delivery route on a daily basis
Deliver durable medical equipment and other home care related equipment to specific points of delivery
Deliver liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery
Protect patient PHI per HIPAA regulations
Handle the retrieval of rental return items and their proper handling and placement into the rental return room
Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately and returns it to the proper facility personnel
Provide patient/client orientation, instructing on the proper use of equipment, when applicable
Work with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, thereby acting as a company field representative
Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repair work on rental equipment
Maintain a neat clean personal appearance
Promote teamwork among co-workers which includes assisting fellow drivers as needed
Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers
Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
Perform pre-trip inspection of truck
Load freight and accurately fill out truck manifest
Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent
No at fault accidents in the past 3 years
Class Regular driver's license
Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs
Good organizational skills
Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications applicable to the position
Perform basic mathematics calculations
Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications necessary to the position
Excellent customer service skills
Familiar with all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen
Familiar with required accreditation policies and procedures as they pertain to delivery driver related activities and customer/staff safety
Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (picking up small cylinders, rolling large cylinders, pushing cylinder cart, hand trucks, steering truck, etc.) Benefits
