Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Delivery Driver will operate box trucks or vans. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks or vans for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary for efficient loading and unloading. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery sites. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience in heavy lifting and handling of various types of cargo is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A valid commercial driving license may be required depending on the vehicle type used for deliveries.
