Job Description
Position Summary:
The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of parts and supplies to customers. This role plays a key part in supporting customer satisfaction by ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and with a high level of professionalism.Responsibilities:
- Deliver parts to customer job sites and company locations in a timely manner
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy prior to departure and upon delivery
- Load and unload parts safely
- Obtain signatures and maintain proper delivery documentation
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
- Communicate effectively with the Parts Department regarding delivery scheduled and any issues
- Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, stocking, and inventory organization as needed
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all traffic laws
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (or more with assistance)
