Overview Join our dynamic team as an Equipment Delivery Driver and become a vital link in ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of equipment to our valued customers. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed truck, gooseneck trailer, and tandem axle roll back, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload equipment, secure equipment, and teach customers how to operate the specific piece of machinery. Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules, ensuring timely arrival at each destination. Assist with shop operations by moving equipment, assisting the full time mechanic, and provide general support in a small business setting. Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices, documenting all pickups, drop-offs, and relevant details. Skills Proven experience driving, equipment operations, and/or mechanic skills. Strong knowledge of commercial driving. Familiarity with equipment such as skid steers, excavators, scissor lifts, and other rental items. Ability to adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards consistently. Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities during deliveries. Experience in route planning. Capable of manual handling tasks involving weight handling in the workplace while practicing safe lifting techniques. Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
