In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers using various types of vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards and adhering to traffic regulations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our delivery operations, supporting our mission to provide exceptional service with a positive attitude. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to complete scheduled routes Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary Ensure accurate delivery by following designated routes and adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with recipients, answering questions, and ensuring a positive delivery experience Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmations, and communication with dispatch teams Perform safe lifting practices during loading and unloading processes, managing heavy or bulky items with proper techniques Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety inspections, and compliance with all safety protocols throughout the shift Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or commercial driving experience is a plus Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or material handling tools is advantageous Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices in urban or rural environments Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting Join our team as a Delivery Associate and become a vital part of delivering happiness!
