They help make sure patients have the medical equipment they need to live safely, comfortably, and independently. We are currently looking for a reliable, hands-on Delivery Technician to join our Erie team. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys being on the road, working with equipment, interacting with customers, and handling a variety of responsibilities throughout the day. You will be responsible for delivering, setting up, retrieving, and maintaining durable medical equipment while providing professional and courteous service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities Deliver durable medical equipment and supplies to patient homes and healthcare facilities. Load and secure equipment safely for transport. Set up equipment and verify that it is clean, safe, and operating properly. Provide patients and caregivers with clear instructions on basic use, care, and maintenance. Complete required delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and collect applicable payments. Pick up equipment and properly separate clean and used items during transport. Clean, disinfect, test, and prepare returned equipment for future use. Perform basic adjustments, troubleshooting, and minor repairs when needed. Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and vehicle stock. Assist with warehouse organization, receiving, shipping, and inventory counts. Keep the assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained. Follow company procedures related to safety, infection control, OSHA, Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements. Assist with additional delivery, service, or warehouse-related duties as needed. What We're Looking For Dependable and responsible work habits. Strong customer service and communication skills. Professional and respectful approach when interacting with patients and caregivers. Previous delivery, warehouse, medical equipment, service, or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
