In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between our warehouse and customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts and materials. Duties Safely operate parts delivery vehicles for both in town and out of town deliveries, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and secure parts using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at multiple customer locations Load and unload deliveries with attention to weight handling guidelines, ensuring the safety of yourself and others during manual handling or moving tasks Provide excellent customer service by delivering parts directly to customers' locations, answering questions professionally, and maintaining a positive attitude Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records in compliance with warehouse operations procedures Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and proper functioning of all equipment Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier roles with a focus on safe driving practices Familiarity with commercial truck driving, box trucks, or personal vehicle delivery methods Ability to manually handle heavy loads using manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks or material handling tools Strong knowledge of route planning and traffic regulations.
