Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate efficiently through various routes. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and organization of items during transit. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each route completed. Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Navigate routes using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and organizing inventory. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience in customer service roles is beneficial for effective communication with clients. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Experience in courier services or warehouse environments will be advantageous for this position.
