Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Non-CDL Delivery Route Driver to join our team. Delivering in a 150 mile radius from Lancaster County, drivers are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of fresh produce to customers along an established route. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain delivery windows, and ensure compliance with food safety and transportation standards. A minimum of 1 year delivery experience operating a '26 foot box truck is required for this position. Schedule Enjoy weekends off with a schedule of Monday-Friday (4am/5am - finish). Responsibilities Inspects refrigerated box truck before departing the facility. Maintains and refuels the truck as necessary Delivers product to customers in a friendly, courteous and respectful manner Manually unloads the truck, putting product on handcart and taking it into the facility, where driver checks and rotates stock. Checks order against invoice to ensure accuracy and consistency Communicates any discrepancies to customer service and the sales team Continually in contact with customers and the customer service department regarding the status of deliveries. Frequently in contact with the transportation team Performs post trip inspection and cleans out the truck Turns in all paperwork and truck keys at the end of the day All other related duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid Class C driver's license Min. of 1 year delivery experience while operating a '26 ft box truck Clean driving record (some minor infractions are okay) Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen At least 21 years of age Strong communication skills to build customer rapport Must be able to speak, read and write English Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively Must be able to lift over head Must be able to climb in and out of truck Must be able to maneuver a loaded hand cart into and through building, including down stairs when needed Must be able to bend, reach, push and pull 50 lb. cases for extended periods of time Must be able to work in varying weather conditions Benefits $1,500 sign on bonus Quarterly based incentives up to $500.00 Weekly pay Paid time off Medical, dental and vision plans Life insurance 401(k) plan Steel toe boot reimbursement program Product discount
