Job Description

Scheid Produce is seeking a friendly personality to drive and deliver customer orders. The driver should work efficiently and accurately to meet customer expectations. This position is for either part time or full time, day shift and will report to the shipping supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Assist in loading customer orders into delivery vehicle. Drive delivery vehicle to individual customer locations observing and obeying all traffic laws. Unload customer orders while checking against invoices for accuracy. Store customer orders according to customer specifications and/or product requirements. Load and record any customer returns. Collect and record payments from cash customers. Properly complete all assigned duties after returning to the warehouse, including filing of paperwork, offloading product, etc.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Demonstrate the ability to carry out duties with limited or no supervision. Show effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Communicate effectively with customers to maintain positive business relationships. Knowledgeable of geographical area. Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Possess the ability to use a pallet jack and lift 50 - 60 lbs. Ability to work a flexible schedule Must have experience driving up to a 24′ box truck
