Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments and be comfortable operating a tanker straight truck. This could be part time or full time seasonal. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and safe delivery of home heating oil while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Duties Operate and drive various types of tanker trucks Load and unload heating oil efficiently while ensuring the safety of the cargo. Navigate assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries as required by company policy and regulatory agencies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by interacting professionally with clients.
