Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Lot Attendant/Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to flex between a lot attendant role and pickup/delivery driver role. This role requires a flexible person who is willing to assist with a wide range of tasks such as equipment staging, equipment cleaning, equipment loading, driving a company delivery truck, blade and chain sharpening and tire changing among other tasks. In this role you will support our dealership operations and ensure quality customer service for our loyal customers. Attention to detail, time management and a can-do attitude are essential. Duties Utilize company vehicles to deliver equipment and supplies to other dealerships and customers. Ensure all the necessary paperwork is completed or transferred to the appropriate parties. Verify equipment identification to ensure the correct equipment is being delivered to the correct customer. Ensure delivered equipment is in an appropriate condition prior to delivery. Address any concerns with the appropriate party as needed. Handle multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in order to meet company schedules. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment. Perform routine inspections of critical wear components on the company equipment. Ensure all the necessary documentation is current and valid prior to departing the dealership. Collect payments as necessary. Move, park and organize vehicles and equipment on the company lot. Ensure equipment is accessible for customers and internal teams, optimizing space and maintaining an orderly display. Follow management directions. Assist customers and internal teams in loading and unloading of vehicles and equipment. Coordinate with sales and service departments to facilitate vehicle and equipment movement for test drives, maintenance, and customer deliveries, ensuring vehicles and equipment are available when needed. Assist internal teams with loading and unloading of new deliveries. Ensure the bill of ladings are accurate and complete. Submit documentation to the necessary internal teams. Alert senior management of any concerns, issues or suggestions. Complete all assigned training and maintain all required certifications or licenses needed to perform the job. Assist all customers and internal teams as requested and when capable. Provide exceptional customer service at all times. Perform any additional tasks assigned by senior management not listed on this job description to the best of your ability. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Mower, saw chain and hedge trimmer blade sharpening when time allows Tire repair, change and / or tubing. General property maintenance, cleaning of showroom when time allows. Assembly of simple light duty machines / displays, when time allows. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience with a flatbed or rollback delivery truck is highly desirable. Familiarity with operation of forklift is highly desirable but not required (training on forklift can be provided). Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Capable of lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and performing physical tasks associated with loading/unloading deliveries. Good organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records. Flexibility to work varying hours as needed based on delivery schedules. Overtime may be offered during busy season but not required.
