Duties Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products to retail stores, clients, and distribution centers. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using route driving skills to maximize productivity and punctuality. Load, unload, and secure merchandise with safe lifting practices, often involving heavy lifting. Communicate effectively with clients to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build positive relationships. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including route logs, delivery receipts, and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
