Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Delivery Driver and become the vital link between our delicious offerings and satisfied customers! This energetic role puts you behind the wheel of a company-provided box truck or cargo van, delivering meals swiftly and safely while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate personal vehicles or commercial box trucks to deliver food orders across designated routes. Load and unload deliveries using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe lifting practices during all driving and manual handling activities. Use mobile devices to navigate routes efficiently, update delivery statuses, and communicate with dispatch teams. Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods, managing weight handling in the workplace with proper manual transmission driving skills. Provide excellent customer service by delivering orders promptly, professionally, and with a friendly attitude. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure compliance with safety standards. Requirements Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving route driving and manual handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is preferred. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy loads safely using proper manual lifting techniques; experience with heavy lifting is advantageous. Knowledge of adhering to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and weight handling in the workplace. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on professionalism and communication via mobile devices. Ability to move efficiently between locations, load & unload goods accurately, and follow safety protocols diligently.
