Delivery Driver Robertson's Flowers & Events Wyndmoor, PA Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Heavy lifting High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Delivery driver experience Full Job Description The position of Delivery Driver is responsible for the careful wrapping and subsequent delivery of items Robertson's sells including but not limited to arrangements, plants, cut flowers, gift items, and gourmet and gift baskets. The utmost care will be taken when handling Robertson's products as many flowers and plants are quite fragile. The ability to stand on one's feet for periods of time is necessary as well as the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. All drivers will adhere to a dress code and wear Robertson's supplied shirts and jackets. Drivers will supply their own pants and shorts and these will be neat and free from holes or tears. Khakis are preferred but jeans or dark pants are acceptable as well. If hats are worn, they will be the company supplied baseball caps or wool caps for winter. Robertson's drivers are expected to be courteous and respectful at all times when representing the company. Robertson's drivers are expected to complete their assigned trips in the most efficient manner possible always adhering to any time requests to guarantee delivery by specified times. Drivers must learn and use the app that completes and updates schedule stops in real-time. On occasion, various other mundane tasks may be assigned if the deliveries for the day are light. Robertson's drivers will report directly to the Dispatch Manager or Assistant Dispatch Manager. Previous experience as a delivery driver is helpful but not a requirement.
