Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. No CDL required. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at multiple destinations throughout the day. Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, practicing safe lifting practices for heavy items. Engage with customers professionally during deliveries, building strong relationships through excellent communication skills and customer service. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while ensuring all paperwork complies with organizational standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure optimal performance and safety. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within delivery services. Strong knowledge of route driving. Demonstrated ability to build positive customer relationships through effective communication skills. Experience with heavy lifting and understanding safe lifting practices to handle diverse loads confidently. $160.00 - $180.00 per day
