Join our dynamic team as a 26FT Box Truck Delivery Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate service for our customers. Your expertise in driving box trucks, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while enjoying the satisfaction of providing exceptional delivery experiences. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver products across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies enduring items are secured properly for transit using straps and blankets. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly. Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet scheduled delivery times, adjusting as needed for traffic or unforeseen delays. Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior, ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a commercial driver, specifically with box trucks or similar vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques. Ability to operate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks safely Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform manual tasks associated with moving goods. Prior experience courier services is advantageous.
