In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks equipped with Moffit systems to deliver freight efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in handling 36ft flatbed with piggyback moffit delivering materials, and complex logistics will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers with Moffit systems local routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload freight using truck loading equipment, managing logistics cargo handling with precision and care. Drive semi with flatbed and moffit transporting goods to residental or new builds Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized delivery routes, ensuring punctual arrivals at each destination. Transport automobiles or other specialty cargo securely using appropriate techniques and equipment. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records for all freight movements. Requirements Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Ability to operate trucks confidently and operate forklift during loading/unloading processes. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and regulations to ensure safety compliance Experience with truck loading/unloading equipment such as lift gates or Moffit systems is highly preferred. Strong navigation skills using GPS devices to follow complex routes efficiently.
