is a new business logistics platform launching in Northern Indiana. We connect local and regional businesses with qualified independent drivers for same-day, scheduled, and time-sensitive deliveries. Unlike traditional food-delivery or rideshare apps, SHIPR is focused primarily on business-to-business deliveries . Drivers may transport parts, supplies, equipment, documents, manufactured components, and other commercial goods between businesses, customers, warehouses, job sites, and facilities. We are currently building our initial driver network in the Warsaw area and are looking for a small group of professional, dependable drivers to participate in our launch and beta-testing program. What You'll Do As an independent SHIPR Driver, you may: Accept local and regional delivery opportunities through the SHIPR Driver app Pick up items from businesses, warehouses, suppliers, and other commercial locations Deliver items safely and professionally to their destination Follow pickup and delivery instructions Maintain communication through the SHIPR platform Provide required proof of pickup and delivery Handle customer property responsibly Represent yourself professionally when interacting with SHIPR business customers Delivery opportunities may range from short local trips to longer regional routes. Who We're Looking For We're specifically looking for drivers who are: Professional and courteous Dependable and punctual Comfortable interacting with businesses and commercial customers Able to follow detailed delivery instructions Comfortable using smartphone-based navigation and delivery software Responsible when handling customer property Able to maintain a clean and presentable vehicle Interested in flexible independent contractor work Previous experience in delivery, courier services, transportation, logistics, trucking, warehousing, field service, rideshare, or similar work is helpful but not required .

Driver Requirements Applicants must:

Be at least 21 years old Possess a valid U.S. driver's license Have an acceptable driving history under SHIPR's driver eligibility standards Successfully complete required background screening Successfully complete identity verification Maintain valid vehicle registration Maintain active automobile insurance meeting SHIPR requirements Have reliable access to an approved vehicle Own a smartphone capable of running the SHIPR Driver application Maintain required documentation while active on the platform Driver activation is contingent upon successfully satisfying SHIPR's applicable identity, background, driving-record, vehicle, insurance, and other eligibility requirements. Vehicle Opportunities SHIPR is interested in drivers with a variety of vehicles, including: Standard cars SUVs Pickup trucks Cargo vans Sprinter-style vans Larger vehicles may qualify drivers for additional types of delivery opportunities. Founding Driver Program Because SHIPR is preparing for its initial launch, we're currently selecting a limited group of drivers to become Founding Drivers .

Founding Drivers will help us:

Test the SHIPR Driver app Complete real-world beta deliveries Test pickup and delivery workflows Provide feedback on the driver experience Identify features that could make SHIPR better for drivers Help establish the standards for our future driver network You'll also have direct communication with the SHIPR team during the beta period. Independent Contractor Opportunity SHIPR Drivers are intended to operate as independent contractors and not employees of SHIPR , subject to the applicable Independent Contractor Agreement and applicable law. Drivers generally provide their own vehicle, fuel, insurance, smartphone, and other equipment necessary to complete accepted delivery opportunities. This opportunity does not guarantee any minimum number of delivery opportunities, hours, or earnings. Background & Safety Screening Because SHIPR drivers may handle valuable and time-sensitive business property, safety and trust are extremely important to us. Applicants may be required to complete: Identity verification Criminal background screening Motor vehicle record screening Driver's license verification Insurance verification Vehicle verification SHIPR evaluates driver eligibility under its applicable driver qualification standards and applicable law.
