Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver Duties:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer or delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations
• Load and unload cargo from the vehicle using manual or mechanical equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including conducting routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of local roads and routes
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Primary Vehicles Used for Deliveries are 350 Van and 26' Box Truck
