Job Description
Job Summary:
Join our innovative company dedicated to creating high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking reliable and experienced drivers to to safely transport finished products to various locations throughout Illinois. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. 7:00am- 4:00pm (Occasionally later for longer distance deliveries or unexpected traffic)
Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles
- Load and unload goods and materials
- Plan and follow designated routes for efficient and timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for by recipients
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from customers
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and warehouse areas
- Able to assist on-site operations during the scheduled work hours when no deliveries are scheduled for the day.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating various locations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of deliveries
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus
