Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver / Package Delivery Driver and become the vital link between our company and our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Your ability to navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety standards will help us deliver on our promise of reliability and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, to transport packages across designated routes Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Follow established delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including signatures, delivery logs, and digital records via mobile devices Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including moving inventory and supporting warehouse staff with manual handling tasks Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on delivery driving and route management Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks is highly desirable Ability to handle heavy lifting safely, following proper lifting practices for manual handling tasks Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safe driving practices Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, delivery tracking, and communication purposes Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during all interactions Physical ability to load, unload, move packages, and perform manual handling tasks efficiently Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise and dedication ensure seamless deliveries that delight our customers.
