In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers' locations while providing excellent customer service. Your enthusiasm and commitment to safe driving will ensure timely deliveries, positive customer interactions, and smooth route operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, stay active, and make a tangible impact in our community by ensuring packages arrive promptly and in perfect condition. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles, including personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and standards. Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize time and fuel consumption while maintaining punctuality. Deliver packages directly to customers' doorsteps, ensuring proper handling and safe lifting practices during loading and unloading. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions, confirming deliveries, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and digital records of all shipments handled during each shift. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is preferred; familiarity with commercial driving is highly valued. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Knowledge of traffic laws Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Comfortable working independently in route driving scenarios while managing time effectively. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move packages throughout the shift; familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial.
