Duties Safely personal vehicle for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize time and fuel consumption. Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses with professionalism and excellent customer service skills. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving goods within the warehouse, and preparing shipments for delivery. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs; communicate any issues or delays promptly. Maintain vehicle safety through routine inspections, proper maintenance checks, and compliance with DOT regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery procedures. Valid driver's license Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations including DOT standards. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude; able to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
