The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks, ensuring all items are secured for transport. Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining accurate records of deliveries made. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and delivery procedures. Assist with inventory management by reporting any discrepancies or damages encountered during deliveries. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of route driving. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Must be organized, punctual, and able to work independently while managing time efficiently.
