You'll be working in the hospitality industry setting up weddings and social events. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts. Deliver products directly to customers' locations while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Manage warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update status reports, and communicate with team members efficiently. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions professionally and ensuring a positive delivery experience. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a focus on safe driving practices. Ability to operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or vans with manual transmission confidently. Strong knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and weight handling in the workplace. Experience with warehouse operations including moving items, manual handling, and operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks. Familiarity with DOT regulations governing commercial vehicle operation and safety standards. Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
