DELIVERY DRIVER/ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to customers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care and precision. Assist with heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed during deliveries or warehouse activities. Manage delivery schedules, plan optimal routes, and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs to maximize efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients, answering questions, and resolving any delivery issues promptly. Support administrative tasks including maintaining delivery logs, updating records, and assisting with inventory management. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and ensure accurate documentation. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience involving box trucks or similar vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) or equivalent is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and driving in various traffic conditions. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or equipment regularly. Experience operating warehouse equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Excellent organizational skills for route planning, load management, and administrative duties.
