Part-Time Campus/Downtown Shuttle Driver Perfect for someone who enjoys being part of the excitement on campus, especially during football season and major university events.
Pay:
$25/hour
Schedule:
15-20 hours per week, Thursday through Sunday About the Role We're looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Shuttle Driver to operate a low-speed, electric shuttle (GEM Car) on and around campus. This role is more than just driving. You'll be helping create a positive experience for passengers while maximizing the visibility of our shuttle and its advertising partners throughout the campus community. This is a fun, people-focused position that becomes especially active during home football games, concerts, campus events, and other high-traffic weekends . You'll be at the center of the action, helping students, alumni, fans, and visitors get where they need to go safely while ensuring our shuttle remains a highly visible part of the campus experience. Responsibilities Safely operate an electric shuttle along accessible campus routes and downtown Clemson. Transport passengers in a courteous, professional manner. Help maximize shuttle visibility by encouraging ridership and operating in high-traffic campus areas. Provide exceptional customer service and a welcoming experience for riders. • Support transportation needs during home football games, campus events, and other busy weekends. Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Represent the company and the advertising brand partner in a positive and professional manner. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older . Valid driver's license required. Clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check. Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality. Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded. Comfortable interacting with students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors. What We Offer Competitive pay of $25 per hour . Consistent part-time schedule (15-20 hours per week).
