Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle to deliver small packages to residential and commercial customers within assigned routes Load and unload packages with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices and weight management in the workplace Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, and company policies during route driving Utilize mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes, confirm deliveries, and communicate with dispatch as needed Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages promptly, answering customer questions professionally, and ensuring a positive experience Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly Follow all safety protocols related to manual transmission driving, heavy lifting, material handling equipment operation (if applicable), and route safety procedures Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on customer service and safe driving practices Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks (nice-to-have) Ability to handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while adhering to OSHA guidelines Knowledge of commercial driving requirements for box trucks or vans, including manual transmission operation (preferred) Demonstrated ability to adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices during daily operations Strong navigation skills using mobile devices or GPS systems for route optimization Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills make a difference!
