Job Description

Joining Battle LP Gas Company means joining the communities we serve. It is important to Battle LP Gas that our Propane Delivery Drivers and all staff understand the importance of top-notch Customer Service, from the office to the field. We are a long-time local company servicing local communities; the same people we shop with, our kids go to school with, our neighbors. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for: Routing and delivering to customers on a regular basis in a safe, courteous and efficient manner. The driver will be responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the Manager. Must have the ability to pull/lift (50 to 75 lbs) delivery hose/equip varying distances, work outside in varying weather/driving conditions and be able to work a flexible schedule with after-hour emergency call-outs. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and our customers. Keep the company vehicle clean, perform daily vehicle inspections and report any problems in accordance with DOT regulations and Company Policy. Propane Service Technician experience is a major plus!
Requirements:
Valid (Class A or B) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT Physical and Homeland Security Background Check. Posess current Medical Examiner's Certificate. Have a good driving record. Be able to be cleared through the
FMCSA. CETP
Certified Highly Preferred. A High School Diploma or equivalent.
