Job Description

Job Summary:
This position will be part of the team responsible for managing the 3rd party services. They will mainly be transporting materials to and from the service providers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Organizes and stages parts in Outside Services that are ready to ship out to a vendor. Prepare orders, load trucks, and deliver parts to and from the vendor, including transporting parts within the Monti facility as needed. Runs the department when Outside Services Supervisor is out including managing material pickup and drop-off; communicating with vendors; checking in returned parts; cutting a purchase order. Maintains 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all work stations. Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills:
Basic math skills (ex. addition, subtraction, multiplication). Intermediate computer skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Interpersonal and written communication. Customer service skills.
Abilities:
Read a tape measure and other measuring equipment. Solve problems quickly and efficiently. Work well with others on a team. Function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Willingness to have performance measured daily.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift certification. DOT certification for single axle box truck preferred
Physical Requirements:
Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment. Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs., occasional, heavy lifting, and pushing / pulling 10 lbs. regularly, 1 to 10 hours per day. Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day. Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work. Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
