Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle, such as a van or box truck, to deliver packages along assigned routes Load and unload parcels using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines to ensure safety on every trip Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication with dispatch teams Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages with professionalism and a friendly attitude Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, including proper manual lifting techniques Maintain accurate delivery records, complete route documentation, and report any delivery issues promptly Experience Previous delivery driver experience or courier roles involving personal vehicle use preferred Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks beneficial Experience with commercial driving, including box trucks or vans, is highly valued Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently adhere to safe lifting practices during loading and unloading tasks Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our delivery network while enjoying the independence of using your own vehicle.
