Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products efficiently along designated routes while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. Engage with customers professionally to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build lasting relationships. Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales. Conduct merchandising activities at retail stores, ensuring displays are well-stocked and visually appealing. Handle heavy lifting with proper technique to load and unload goods safely. Maintain detailed route logs, delivery documentation, and inventory records for accountability. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic regulations. Basic math skills for pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory management. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Prior retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving is highly desirable. Proven organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
