Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries that meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a focus on customer service, and experience handling various delivery equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, to complete scheduled deliveries Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of items Plan optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during drop-offs Assist with warehouse tasks, including inventory management and heavy lifting when necessary Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly Load, secure, and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage during transit Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver certifications is a plus Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving goods Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools Prior experience in load & unload operations, including heavy lifting and moving items safely Familiarity with safety protocols related to commercial driving and warehouse work If you are motivated by delivering exceptional service, possess strong driving skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply today.
