POSITION SUMMARY
  • Are you ready for a fast-paced environment?
This position verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitiude. A. Education Requirements/Certifications 1.
Minimum Requirements of:
a. High School Diploma or GED; and 0-1 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Required Certification and/or
Licensure:
a. Valid driver's license and capable of being covered under the agency insurance if driving a company vehicle. 3. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
B. POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Prepares and ships: a. Determine labeling requirements including but not limited to: Assemble and pack product containers, preparing and attaching shipping labels on packed containers. b. Prepare all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner 2. Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measure incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against the bill of lading, invoices, or orders. 3. Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, document shortages, and communicate with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages. 4. Delivers products to customers. 5. Must be able to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job.

, then to the floor 7. Push 50 #/Pull 50# 8. Have a moderate level of hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity including (picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and repetitive flexion/rotation.
D. WORK ENVIRONMENT 1.
The noise level is usually loud 2. There is occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, and chemicals. 3. Works in hot/cold temperatures and rain/snow. 4. Can work alone and/or with others. 5. Works around objects that can be very sharp.
