We are currently searching for a reliable Delivery Driver at our Clarksville location. Delivery Drivers play a key role in our customer relations and will require the ability to load, deliver, and demonstrate equipment to the customers of Coleman Tractor as assigned by the Service Manager. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping customers with a can-do attitude exceeding our customer's expectations.

Reports To:

Service Manager General Duties - Some duties are, but not limited to, the following: Set the tone and represent Coleman Tractor in the community through knowledge, honesty, and integrity. Begin each workday with a positive mindset and always encourage a sense of "team" amongst peers Stay on top of technical and product knowledge by attending/completing all assigned training from Coleman and Kubota Check condition of equipment being delivered prior to it being loaded on the truck Report any problems with equipment to the Service Manager Check with the Service Manager before leaving to receive the location or any special instructions Ensure the equipment is secured on the truck for its route Keep track of all mileage on the CTC Driver's Log Drive truck to destination in a safe and timely manner Obey traffic laws and comply with DOT standards Obtain necessary signatures as requested by the Service Manager and Salesperson Collect payments for goods if applicable Give basic instructions to the customer on how to operate the equipment Work effectively with all levels of the company -- Parts, Service, Sales, Admin Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor General Requirements Class A CDL - Active Trailer Experience Must be able to lift and handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs. Punctual and reliable Must have forklift experience. Must have the ability to multi-task. Clean driving record Experience operating construction, agricultural, and turf equipment Early, late, overnight, or early Saturday travel may be required based on business needs Must display excellent leadership and communication skills Must have positive can-do attitude Superior Customer Service skills Ability to speak effectively one on one Ability to effectively listen Ability to interpret customer needs High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Physical Requirements This position is very active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
