Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized trucks designed for hauling large waste containers, ensuring efficient collection and disposal services. Your expertise in driving heavy-duty vehicles, combined with your mechanical knowledge, will help keep operations running smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team committed to delivering reliable service while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks, including front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to transport waste containers to designated disposal sites Load and unload roll-off containers efficiently using mechanical skills and appropriate equipment Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Perform heavy lifting when handling large containers or equipment during loading and unloading processes Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance records Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road Assist with minor mechanical troubleshooting or basic maintenance tasks as needed Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with heavy-duty trucks such as front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, or flatbed trailers Strong knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy trucks and trailers Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with manual transmission experience preferred Demonstrated ability to load & unload cargo safely and efficiently in various environments Experience operating tractor-trailers or similar large vehicles is highly desirable Prior experience in delivery driving or waste collection services is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions Join us as a Roll-Off Driver and become an essential part of a team dedicated to providing top-tier waste management solutions. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
