Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load, secure, and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize time and fuel consumption while maintaining punctuality. Provide excellent customer service by delivering products accurately, professionally, and with a friendly attitude. Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting manual handling tasks as needed. Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, including proof of delivery and route logs, maintaining accurate records for each trip. Follow safe lifting practices during loading and unloading activities to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is advantageous. Proven ability in delivery driver roles, demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and experience with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Ability to lift heavy items safely while adhering to safe lifting practices; physical fitness for manual handling tasks is essential. Familiarity with route driving using mobile devices or GPS systems for navigation purposes. Understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and commercial vehicle operation. Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers, team members, and dispatch personnel.
