Job Description
Job Summary Join our growing delivery team as an Independent Package Delivery Driver and play a key role in bringing packages directly to customers' doors. In this role, you will use your own reliable vehicle to safely and efficiently deliver small packages along assigned routes. This position is ideal for motivated drivers who enjoy being on the road, working independently, and providing excellent service to customers every day. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accuracy, and representing the company with professionalism and reliability. Duties Safely operate your own personal vehicle to deliver small packages to residential and commercial locations Follow assigned delivery routes and complete all stops in a timely and efficient manner Load and organize packages in your vehicle before departure Deliver packages accurately while maintaining a high standard of customer service Use mobile devices or delivery apps to scan, update, and complete delivery status in real time Handle packages with care to ensure safe and damage-free delivery Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines while driving Report any delivery issues, delays, or exceptions promptly to dispatch Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members Experience Prior delivery or driving experience preferred but not required Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle Ability to follow GPS navigation and delivery instructions Strong time management and organizational skills Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and carry packages as needed (typically light to medium weight) Must have a smartphone for delivery app usage Good communication skills and reliability are essential Job Type Independent Contractor (1099) Full-time / Part-time opportunities available Operating Area Austin, TX and surrounding areas (Manor, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and nearby communities) Why Join Us Flexible scheduling based on route availability Daily delivery opportunities Supportive dispatch and operations team Opportunity to grow with expanding delivery routes Consistent local routes (no long-distance driving)
